The Party Decides: Presidential Nominations Before and After Reform
I mentioned this in one of my posts. The way we nominate our nominate our presidential candidates has changed over the last 100 years and specifically over the last five decades. The way in which we nominated Lincoln was completely different from the way we nominated Reagan and Obama (party not withstanding).
The process does make a difference. We will see what reforms materialize after 2016.
