Millard Filmore – East Aurora, New York
Millard Fillmore was our 13th POTUS, serving from July 1850 to March 1853. Fillmore became president upon the death of President Zachary Taylor who died after serving just over a year of his term.
In 1826, Fillmore built this home in East Aurora, New York. He and his wife lived here only four years. Other than the White House, it is the only surviving Fillmore residence.
